  7. Laura - your daughters are absolutely precious! It has been such a pleasure for me to pray for them (and you) since just before they were born. Julie Sellers (in St. Augustine, FL) put a prayer request for you on facebook and I have been praying for you ever since. [Julie's husband, Jamie, is my cousin's son but I just got to meet Julie for the first time a little over a year ago - loved her instantly!] At any rate, I am the grandmother of boy/girl twins who I have had the joy of keeping since they were 3 wks old - they will be 10 years old in Oct. They were delivered at 35 wks because the girl was getting all the umbilical nutrition and fluid and the boy was no longer thriving. She weighed 6#4oz and he weighed 4#13oz at birth. The tables turned at delivery, however. He thrived and she did not. Because he had been stressed inutero his body had produced the necessary suffactant to mature his lungs. Hers had not and she had to be in NICU for awhile. I think our experience gave me a special prompt to pray diligently for Evangeline during her NICU days. I have prayed often that God would make your girls strong of body, sound of mind and mighty in spirit. He is answering that prayer beautifully and I love getting to see your pictures of them. Their sweet smiles melt this old grandmother's heart. Blessings to you all!
