Okay guys - I have been listening to this song with you in mind for the past few months. I can't wait for you to listen to it and I hope it delights you for the years you have ahead of you... http://davebarnes.com/ (top left corner - first song, "mine to love").
ReplyDeleteWow! What PRECIOUS and BEAUTIFUL gifts! Welcome to the world, sweet girls! Your lives already testify to God's greatness!
ReplyDeleteLate commenting here--welcome to your girls! I've commented earlier that I know that this is not the kind of pregnancy, labor, delivery, newborn experience that you wanted. Of course not. However, I am a firm believer in God's plan. He knew you were going to have these little miracles. Find Erma Bombeck's story about a Preemie Momma--google search it, and you will sniffle. You and your hubby are perfect for these little ladies, and these little ladies are perfect for you. I know it sounds strange, but try to ENJOY your time in the NICU with the girls. You have the best teachers and the best babysitters ever. These nurses want nothing more than to be wishing you Godspeed at the end of your NICU journey as you take your little gals home! And it's going to be sooner than you think, believe it!! Do as many "cares" as you can, and take pictures of kangaroo time. In a year or so, if there is a NICU reunion available to you, bring your kiddos and sniffle with your nurses about how far you've come. You have such a journey ahead of you, and I am sending love and prayers to your family!
